Here are some of the many benefits of being a member of the
DowntownS Miramichi - Newcastle Business District:
- As a member you will be able to take part in special programs
such as seminars, workshops and lectures which will discuss topics of importance to retailers and other Downtown members
- Your name will be listed in the Downtown Directory which
is distributed to all members.
- You will be kept informed of what is happening in and
around the downtown, along with issues that could impact your business.
- You will be able to participate in our general
meetings, and have a voting voice. (There are 4 regular general meetings per year)
- You will have the opportunity to be elected to the
Board of Directors. The board meets once a month.
- You will have the opportunity to sit on various committees that
work with the General Manager focused on a number of initiatives.
- You will receive special rates from different advertising vehicles
and training programs (ie. Super Host Atlantic). As well as, be able to participate in special promotions.
- You will have the opportunity to meet and network with other business people in
the community. Remember, people do business with people they know!
- You will be listed on the Downtown web site
and be able to link to your own web site.
